Alice Speaks

As I shrank
the world became larger
and unfriendlier. I believed
impossible things before
waking. Over and over
I read the letters
and the space between
the lines widened until
I could plainly see the hidden
messages: Eat Me Drink
Me Inject Me
. Pointlessly I
examined all the alternatives
and when I had vanished
behind a large fan
the note I left was carefully
worded to say nothing
instructive
.
